In South Africa we have one united association - Chiropractic Association of South Africa. Membership is voluntary, with malpractice insurance being mandatory to be a member. To practice in South Africa one has to register with the statutory body - Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa. One has to be appropriately qualified (ECCE equivalent), and comply with the visa requirements in order to register with the AHPCSA. Requirements for registration can be found on www.ahpcsa.co.za.12
