As an EU citizen moving to and working in Ireland is uncomplicated. Otherwise you must be employed by someone resident here to obtain a work visa. Alternatively you need to have substantial funds to leave in an account to set up in practice without sponsorship. (With Brexit this info may change)
The Chiropractic Association of Ireland (CAI) is the Association representing Chiropractors in Ireland. Membership is voluntary, but will enable you to avail of the best Insurance through the CAI group scheme and will also allow patients to claim some cost of care on private health insurance. Unregulated means the association is professional self-regulation, and to gain access to malpractice insurance. As well, patients can get some reimbursement for care from their private health insurance, only if the DC is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland.
