To legally practice as a chiropractor in New Zealand, you must be registered with the Chiropractic Board and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate. Registration in New Zealand requires either: 1. A qualification from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic or an education accreditaed by the 'Council on Chiropractic Education Australiasia (CCEA). 2. A pass in an examination set by the New Zealand Chiropractic Board for chiropractors trained overseas or 3. Chiropractors who hold registration by the Chiropractic Board of Australia at the time of application (under the provision of the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997).
