Can work if a EU citizen, on spouse visa with Dutch Citizen, or on a highly skilled migrant visa (requires sponsorship). Americans can come over to the Netherlands under the "DAFT" "Dutch American Friendship Treaty"
No licensing body but the NCA requires you to do a Dutch language exam and a entrance exam within your first year of practice. They also have a Graduate Education Program for new graduates. The DCF and the NCA now require a Dutch exam, B1 level within your first year of practice. The DCF wants you now to be A1 before you start practicing. In addition, you must have graduated from an accredited University.
You must register with one of the 2 associations (DFC, NCA) each have different conditions. You will also have to register with the SCNR or the SCN.
