Most people need a visa for India. To take up employment there is an employment visa. To set up your own business you must be on a business visa from the start, before you incorporate your company.
If you are going to practice in India, please join the association. There is no legislation to cover chiropractic in India, so the Association is the only way we have to delineate those who are properly qualified. Anyone is welcome as long as they have a recognised chiropractic qualification.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Chiropractic is not regulated in India. Commonwealth Law applies (as in Canada, the UK) so if something is not legislated for, it is legal. Check with your overseas insurer if they will cover you for practice in India.
